# 3. Dentists: How to Use the Tooth Chart

## In this lesson, you’ll learn how to use Diagnocat’s smart Tooth Chart to visually assess a patient’s oral health.

**Key Points:**

1. **Navigating the Tooth Chart**: 
     - Access the patient’s profile and click the purple link to open the AI report.
     - The AI automatically recognizes teeth numbers and mounts the x-ray correctly.
2. **Color-Coded Tooth Chart**: 
     - **White**: Healthy teeth.
     - **Purple**: Treated teeth (fillings, endodontics, crowns).
     - **Red**: Unhealthy teeth needing treatment.
     - **X**: Missing teeth.
     - **Question Mark**: Low probability conditions.
3. **Periodontal Bone Loss**: 
     - Horizontal red lines indicate areas of bone loss.
4. **Navigation and Editing**: 
     - Click on a tooth number to navigate to the dental card.
     - Change tooth numbers or switch to the Pedo system as needed.
5. **Choose Region of Interest**: 
     - Select specific teeth or regions to display in the report.
     - Save settings to show only selected teeth or dental cards.

By the end of this lesson, you’ll be proficient in using Diagnocat’s smart Tooth Chart to assess and plan patient treatments effectively.
